In 2026, we mark 20 years since the establishment of the National Missing Persons Coordination Centre (NMPCC). Over the past two decades, the NMPCC has worked to raise awareness of missing persons, support investigations, and keep the stories of long-term missing Australians in the public eye. This anniversary edition reflects that ongoing commitment and recognises the enduring impact these cases have on families and communities across Australia.
This special edition poster highlights missing persons featured on posters in 2006, who are yet to be located. By revisiting and highlighting these unresolved cases 20 years later, we aim to keep them visible and honour the families and communities who continue to remember, miss and love them.
