R U OK?

Today is R U OK? Day. We are reminded that every day is the day to ask, ‘are you OK?’. It’s important to engage in a meaningful conversation whenever we spot the signs that someone we care about might be struggling with life.

You don’t need to be an expert to have an R U OK? conversation. Listening and giving someone your time might be just what they need to help them through.

R U OK? Day tips include:

  1. Ask R U OK?
  2. Listen with an open mind
  3. Encourage action
  4. Check in frequently
