Crime Stoppers and Australia’s eSafety commissioner are launching a new campaign about child sexual abuse and online predators, warning the growing problem has become even more acute as people spend more time on the internet during the COVID-19 crisis.

The national effort aims to educate people about the risks and encourage parents to put in place measures to protect their children. While the initiative was in the works before the COVID-19 pandemic, authorities are already concerned about a spike in abuse and illicit material during the crisis.
